Wedding Anniversary Gift help...
Greetings fellow gents, I have a significant upcoming anniversary soon with my lovely bride. I have planned ahead and have already acquired a DJ31 in RG/SS for her (her first mechanical watch). I want to preface that primary gift with a house clock of some sort that we can enjoy together. I am not smart on house clocks, so I'm looking for advise on something that I will appreciate having over time. I will appreciate any quick advise you can provide me. I need to acquire and have it wrapped up on about 1 week's time. Thank you in advance for any help! BTW, its's our 15th, so that is the reason for the focus on 'time' gifts. Gotta take advantage of these rare opportunities :)

Chelsea Clocks. We have several from WWII vintage (they were on every US Naval ship), to new ships bells, to barometers. I would post a link but I can’t yet. Google will take you to them- they are in MA.

Very good, will take a look now - I'm a former soldier from moons a-past, so sounds interesting for sure. Thank you again.

ok, the Chelsea didn't do it for me. Any other ideas out there? looking for a good initial distraction gift (a clock) that will be something we later learn to really appreciate in time. IF no ideas, I do appreciate any time spent considering input. I'll figure it out. Cheers.

+1 Hands down. It’ll be an heirloom and piece of art to look at and functional until the end of time. https://www.jaeger-lecoultre.com/us/...-of-atmos.html
