Breakdown of models in all of production
Sorry if this has been covered before. I am wondering how many 16600 Sea Dwellers were made in 2008 out of the total of about 770,000 Rolexes produced in that year. Is it possible to break down the total production into rough percentages for the different models?
This is my totally guessed list, and I’d be grateful to hear your thoughts. DJ 30% Day Date 5 Sub 10 GMT Master II 5 Explorer 8 Explorer II 5 Daytona 5 Millgauss 4 OP 10 Sea Dweller 3 Deep Sea 3 Cellini 3 Yacht Master 3 Ladies (all) 6 Cheers, Tom |

Only Rolex knows as they don't release these figures out to the public. Your guess is as good as any.

If you look at what's available on the shelf at a typical AD:
Two-tone Datejust: 94% Daydate: 5% Everything else (combined): 1% |
