FS: Omega Seamaster "Seachero" ref 2937-2 from 1957
Hi All,
I’m selling an Omega Seamaster “Seachero / Ranchero” reference 2937-2 circa 1957. This is a seldom seen model with a dial that is very similar to that of the Ranchero of the same era. These don’t come to market very often, to say the least. Here are the details: Dial: Excellent matte black dial that has aged to a dusty grey-brown color likely due to radium exposure and shows some aging. The recessed hour markers have developed a beautiful orange patina. The lume in the hands is lighter in color than the hour markers. Both hour markers and hands glow brightly then drop off quickly at the same rate when exposed to UV light. The watch registered 8+ on a geiger counter. Case: Excellent and sharp 35.5mm stainless steel case. Movement: Manual winding Omega calibre 267 serial number 15,2xx,xxx in excellent shape and keeping good time, service history is unknown. The Deal: My price is $5,950 with overnight shipping from Fedex and third-party insurance from Parcel Pro. Reasonable offers and trades are always welcome. I will accept payment via wire transfer or PayPal +3% with buyer references. You get a 3 day inspection period and may return the watch for any reason. You'll receive a full refund minus all shipping, insurance, packaging and other costs associated with the purchase and return of the watch. My name is Michael and I can be reached at 415.323.3938, via email at info@sectordial.com or on Instagram @sectordial. Face to face transactions in a secure location in the Union Square neighborhood of San Francisco are possible by appointment. I am an IWJG member in good standing. Happy to provide references as needed. |
