New BB58 question

Hey folks,

I received my BB58 about a week ago and have been enjoying it immensely.
I am doing a lot of photography and some macros and I encountered one marker ”9” marker that it looks like maybe they put too much lume that creates a weird shape? I looked at the watch at the AD with a loupe and don't remember anything like that... I wanted to ask you if that variation is legitimate or would it annoy you? And finally I notice a spot on one of the markers which I haven't seen in the store as well...

Thanks!

If I'm having to zoom in that close to see flaws then no it would not bother me,

Any other one likely would have similar issues - I’ve had to learn this the hard way myself ... of my 3 new modern Rolex watches, only 1 of them is “perfect” .. and to be honest, I think I got super lucky for my 1 to be perfect because if you search around you’ll end up seeing quite a few forum members have noticed similar flaws on their watches .. if you go looking for flaws, you’ll find them

Funny thing is... You need to zoom for the first time, but then you can see it without as well... I should stop doing macro photography 😌

I have never had a watch without an issue, sometimes it is big enough to do something about and sometimes it isn't... Debating if it's worth dealing with

Thanks!

As far as I can see, none of the flaws show up in the third photo which is how you will likely see the watch. I suspect it’s nothing to worry about unduly. Get a nick on the bezel like I have and it will take your mind off it....

If you zoom in you can kinda see it guys, what do you think? I manage to see it with my naked eye, but I am looking for that of course...

Thanks for the answers

i don't think you zoomed in enough

you probably missed 19 other flaws to the lume, case, hands, and dial

you should check again

Seriously....you cannot see it with naked eye even if you hold it close

I wonder what else bothers you aside from watches. I think you should stop the macro photography for a while or return the watch... If you seek perfection in any watch you are chasing after the wind.

Even if you're right and you've got a point, the way you're articulating is not nice.
We're both adults, don't try to imply things, and if you don't like my post you can just scroll down to the next one.

Anyways, I appreciate your answer and made my conclusion.

Rule of macro photography - never with your own watches.
