I bough my Bluesy last August, my DJ41 in May, waiting on a Root beer right now.... So yeah, once you start you can't stop apparently. After the Root beer, I will be done for a while... Maybe a rose gold day date... Big maybe though! Lol

Always looking; even after a recent purchase. It's a sickness.

Every time I think I'm content, I manage to end up at WatchRecon. And now I find myself debating a Pelagos or 14060M, less than a month after getting a Heritage BB. Which is absurd, given that my ExpII and HBB are absolutely adequate, attractive, and check all of my boxes.

Rolex seems to have a knack for blue dials. I feel the same way about my 116613LB I got last week, way better blue dial in person!

That's a beautiful piece. I was deciding between that watch and the sub 114060 when I was looking for my first rolex

Buy the one you can get first and put your name on waitlist for the other. I have the exact same two watches - perfect combo!

I guess I’m the outlier here... I no longer get this feeling bc I’ve become very selective in what I purchase over the years. I have to really love it (rule I made for myself).

When I buy what I love, the desire for the “next one” is gone. At least for an extended period.

I am continually looking but unfortunately my Rolex acquisitions have to be put on hold. I purchased a DJ in 1983, my second one in 2019 and third in 2020. I just purchased a vintage Hamilton from by birth year for a fraction of what a Rolex cost. Already have my eye on another but I always have my eye on the next one!

Guilty of being infected of this particular pandemic illness.
Although when I'm looking it doesn't always lead to an immediate purchase, I call it "research", just in case some mystical money door opens and I have to immediately chose. At any given moment, I have at least three watches lined up that I want.

Then there's the current state of affairs, "the list". I'm on it for a Daytona, that's hopefully my real next purchase, God willing, sometime before I hit male menopause.

Always looking at something, always have since I was a young chap.

Lately I have been looking at a lot of JLC and Grand Seiko stuff. The newer Vulcain alarms have peaked my interest as well.

Regardless, I am satisfied with the current state of my small collection...
