Authenticity check for 1680

Hi,

I've been offered a 1680, just based on these, does the dial look like a mk4 open 6?

Thanks.

This is not the OP question ,but the lume in the hands looks like it has been sloppily repainted, with paint actually spilling onto the top surface. I am also wondering if the lume has been removed from the dial, it looks completely flat in those photos.

Yea, why would anyone remove lume?

Do people actually remove tritium from dials?

Yes, if lumes are really bad they can be "washed off" to leave the white plots underneath.
