Bvlgari Pictures

Hi all,

After a few incomings from members, I thought I would check the brand out. Whilst I was impressed, I am still not sure if I would pay for one given the other brands available at the price point.

Anyway enjoy the pics and interested on your thoughts on the brand as a watchmaker?

Funny, I was thinking just the opposite. And I’m usually a bracelet guy.

Guess I'm biased since the Octo has been on my wrist for only 48 hours. Sure there's a lot of great choices out there from Ming to FPJ and Rolex to MB&F. For me I geek out over the movement, which thankfully is thin AND fills the rear of the case. The dial is surprisingly easy to read even in low light. Very comfortable to wear and safe for beach / ocean fun. There's more... yet I'm happily biased.

Am curious, if it had AP or PP on the dial would you say $20k would be about right, dare we say $30k since it is ultra-thin and the oveall-ish design has earned many awards?

I'd love to try one on.... my SkyDweller looks medium sized on my wrist, so I suspect it would be a good fit for me. The movement is in-house - what's not to like? Striking looking watch.

There is nothing similar available at that price point
12.000 euro is not cheap but if you’re looking for something similar you’ll need over 20.000

Is there much a difference visually between the Octo Originale and the Octo Finissimo?

Did you look at both?

I didn't look at both. For me the blue dial, etc on this new model checked all the right boxes. The Octo series reminds of Panerai in that you can choose different configurations of the same 'theme'. Some might want titanium, or gold, or....

I like the watch and think it looks great on you.

My wallet would appreciate if you all would stop sharing pictures of this beauty :)

Significantly cheaper than an AP and not that bad looking. But still some great watches available at that price point

I think they are on the rise as a watchmaker. I would not be purchasing at full retail.

I like the watches but do not have a feel for the market, availably or resale. I would like to possibly have one but I am not an informed consumer just yet. I do like the LE that Revolution did with them this week. White dial chronograph.
