IWC AQUATIMERS - one of the great divers

Seriously, IWC should give some effort on their current line up of divers.
it's been "dead" for sometime.

love their previous generations of divers
any fans out there?

I really like this specific reference. I have it under strong consideration but haven’t decided on it.

I want something for weekend visits to the lakehouse: strap it on for the drive then canoeing/boating/water sports, walking the nature paths and also for casual (and occasional fancy) restaurants. This seems to fit the bill quite nicely and I really like the aesthetics.

I don’t know have an in depth knowledge of the brand or the aquatimer line. Will start to look into both a bit more.

If movements are of concern, not sure all are in house.
Very nice though

The Porsche Design Ocean 2000 and the GST Aquatimer 2000 (3536) are great watches. All more recent Aquatimers are meh in my eyes.

I like the earlier generations, the one with the internal bezel operated by a crown, and the generation before that.

I dislike the main hands on the more recent generations.

Love the Aquatimer 2000 (top right) and lusted after it for a while. I remember it was worn in the Jaime Foxx / Colin Farrell Miami Vice movie and looked awesome

I'm fond of my IWC; though I'm a habitual flipper, I don't think it'll be going anywhere.
