Omega Constellation Pie Pan BLUE DIAL
Hi all,
I’m curious. First time seeing a blue dial, pie pan Constellation. Hard to find any reference on it. Is this authentic in your opinion? Regards Alex Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I do not think Omega made a blue dial during this time period. And have never seen a blue pie pan. Black (rare), silver and gold/champagne are all I have ever seen.
I can only find 2 blue pie pans on the internet, one that says it is a re dial and one that Heritage auction sold with no disclaimer. I suppose it is possible, but I would bet money against it, and I do not gamble. If it was a 70's Constellation with a tv dial or a barrel case then yes. I probably have a dozen pie pans and have collected vintage Omega for 30 years. Last edited by MILGAUSS88; 24 January 2021 at 02:28 PM.. Reason: ... |

Thank you for the feedback,
I have the same view. Having drooled over so many piepans, I was exited to see a blue one for the first time. It was wishful thinking from my end. It would have been kinda cool if Omega did produce a batch of these. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I like my watches original, but I will admit that I bought an Omega Seamaster, with a redone blue waffle dial from the 50's. I knew it wasn't original, but I liked the look. I paid $250, I think.
If the Constellation was priced as a redone dial I would consider it, as it is a good looking watch. It is not worthless when it is not all original, but I pay accordingly, to it's originality. |
