Incoming 1st Rolex!

Last week my AD sent me a text asking If I could come in to check out a few new releases he just got in. I happily obliged and told him I would stop by after lunch. I knew something was up when he took me directly to the rolex VIP room as I wasn't aware of any new releases in the past month. The smile on his face was unforgettable as he sat down in front of me and showed me this, still in the coffin. A few things, big thanks to my AD, you have a customer and a friend for life and secondly, pictures don't come close to capturing the true beauty of this thing. At 37 years young I have my first Rolex, a 116500LN white dial in all it's glory. Wait time, 2 years 9 months. For all you guys out there waiting, if your AD says your next on the list, do not give in to the temptation of buying something else, hold the line. I have battled with fighting the resistance to buy several watches as the price of the 116500LN continued to skyrocket thinking all hope was lost and they would never sell me one for retail. They came through big time and I absolutely love this watch.

Thanks! I have quite a few watches and my wife wears the blue OP 31 roman numeral dial. I have a good relationship with my AD buying a piece here and there over the years just waiting and hoping!

Try not to read too much into comments about this watch. Most of us literally worship this one but others for unknown reasons attempt to put it down. Bottom line, you have managed to snag one of the worlds most desirable time pieces!!! Big Congrats!!!

If your AD says they can get it for you then they will. It just may take a few years. Funny story, well not really funny, this is only the second white dial daytona my SA has been able to deliver since it's inception. With multiple locations and multiple SA's at each the daytona's get split up and it can take some time. Lets hope Rolex keeps cranking them out so the people who have waited can get their watch.

Congrats on getting the much wanted Daytona!

You say it is your first Rolex but I would be surprised if it was your first luxury watch from this retailer?

In any event wear it well
