Day Date - Chinese Days & Date

Can anyone confirm how to get a day date with writing in chinese/mandarin

I see people staying you can get the date wheel and day wheel in Chinese but no idea where to start

Is it as simple as asking the AD to have one installed when ordering

PS no comments on the length of 'waiting lists' - that's a known issue

Im positive its just as simple as letting the AD know what language you want when you put in your order. Would be no different than specifying the dial color.

But I will say orders seem to be taking quite awhile to fulfill now even for day dates. I ordered back in March and still waiting.

It can be ordered when the AD makes the request.

hmm, oddly that character in the date wheel is written incorrectly. it should be like the same character as the last one written in the month wheel - it's missing half of the top line.

this reminds me of many poorly written tattoos in Chinese characters. My friend got a tattoo, and I said, 'what does it say?'
She responded: "Can't you read Japanese?"
Me: "yep."
Her: "o crap."
Me: "I mean, I think I can tell what they were going for, but it's not Japanese or Chinese."

Nice work Rolex. That '5' is wrong.

Simply go to the AD and request the Chinese day and date wheels and they should be able to fit it once it arrives. My friend did the same with his going from English to Arabic.

That five is not wrong, there are many ways to write 5 in Chinese calligraphy. Here are a few examples that the top line doesn’t cross the vertical line.

Can someone explain this concept of special orders to me? Is there a wait list there too?

Couldn't agree more

Note that there are 2 'variants' of the Chinese/Mandarin depending on how rounded/'cursive' one's preference for the script is. Below is the one I picked for my DD (attached).

Interesting sidenote, all my Chinese family members prefer the Arabic numbers.

The one guy who has a president, the date is in English.

Very hard to read the small characters

Arabic numbers are standard even for Chinese

Xingqiyi
Er
San
Si
Wu
Liu
Ri

No characters should be square
