New leather band for Speedy, suggestions?

I misplaced a brown leather band I bought awhile ago. Any suggestions for a replacement?

Do you know if the Bulang straps are better than Hodinkee? Also, hard to tell shipping cost on Bulang.

I’d just go with the OEM alligator strap and buckle. Not a big fan of speedys on leather though…

The Omega OEM straps are super expensive. Trying to get the look for less.

I’ve loved every strap I’ve gotten from B&R Bands. The Horween leather straps are particularly nice. Also love the racing strap.

I just picked a couple OEM alligators from Omega. Outstanding quality. Probably the best you can buy for your Speedy. Yes, they are expensive but not in relation to what you paid for your Speedy. I also recommend Hodinkee for a wider selection. Have several of their straps that I’m also pleased with. Enjoy. The Speedmaster is a strap monster as they say.

An Omega alligator strap goes for $990. An Omega brown strap and buckle set me back $700. I just picked up a new leather strap for $105. I bought my Speedy for $3000 new way back when.

I picked up an alligator with pin buckle for my Speedy last month and paid $425 from the Omega website. If you are happy with the quality of what you bought that’s all that matters. I was responding to your question based upon my personal experience. I have found with most things you get the quality you pay for in the long run..

No harm, no foul. I am usually a big spender, but thought I paid a lot for an Omega strap and I am frustrated that I misplaced it. Will post pix!

Bas & Lokes make good straps.

I really like the wide selection and customization available from Genteel Handmade. Great quality too.
