Incoming 2021 Batman
It wasn’t on my radar but my AD offered it, so I took it. Added to the collection. Oddly enough I also got the jubilee version from the same AD about 18 months back but I let that go since it wasn’t gaining any wrist time.

I mean, it sounds like a pointless purchase TBH. You never liked it the first time and sold it plus you have a BLRO anyways, what's the point.

I think that the reason I bought it is pretty evident. If one has a good relationship with an AD and is offered a sports Rolex then this is a very kind gesture by said AD. I believe in reciprocation in these instances, kind-for-kind. Since I clearly collect watches and haven’t ever had the previous oyster batman, why not? I will wear it, look at it and see if its worthy of remaining in my collection. If i discover later that it isn’t then so be it. Right now it sits aside the pepsi and I’ll traverse the new watch honeymoon period
