A few simple questions...

1) Ad or grey?
2) How do I develop an AD relationship?
3) Wait time on a Pepsi?
4) Should I wrap my Rolex in plastic?
5) Is everyone justifying their purchase by claiming to leave it to their new
born child?
6) How long until a stranger tells me to "wear it in good health?"
7) Will my watch winder pillow stretch my bracelet?
8) Is this 40mm watch too small on my 6.75" wrist?
9) Are AD waitlists real?
10) Is a Rolex a good investment?
11) Should I send my AD flowers?

Did I miss any?

absolutely brilliant and original thread you have there.

you missed a few, but I think would work very well for you and your thread

How much attention should I get; how much do I need from strangers?

How can I kiss the mod's asses? I wonder if they would like me more if I'm rude to people posting about certain topics? Accuracy, quality control issues, difficulty with authorized dealer and prices, predictions....I mean, I've been here for quite a long time, over a decade, maybe they'll make me a mod because of this post? And then I could be really cool? I'll finally be accepted as one of them?

Would I impress a mod if I make fun of people using terms such as Batman Hulk or Pepsi?

Can I impress others by showing that I consistently and carelessly damage my jewelry? Would they think I'm part of the cool club or I'm badass?

I really hope someone posts something about polishing or how to acquire a hot difficult purchase, so that I could give my input and try to seek approval form particular trf members!! Oh geez please, pretty please!

Run with that....

Lol. I'm DEAD

How many watches can one put on their no limit credit card this year?

Full disclosure, I’m guilty of #5 (X2)

A few more...
Is it safe for my ROLEX to get wet?
Best ways to keep the “faith” and show “praise”?
Should I just leave the stickers on for the next 50 years and are they the same material as what Grandma used on her couch?

I’m sure more contributions will be made to the thread.

I’ll add a few more:
1) 202x new release predictions?
2) My AD told me this news/rumor, is it true?
3) Best ways to get a ____? (Daytona, SkyD, Pepsi, etc.)
4) Should I trade my watch for ____?
5) Which one should I get ____ vs ____?
6) Should I get a polish?

Great list!

I'll add: "have y'all (love "y'all") noticed it's kind of difficult to get a stainless steel sports model all of-a-sudden?"

3) Wait time on a Pepsi? - As long as it takes

4) Should I wrap my Rolex in plastic? - No they are fine as they are, people have been wearing them without plastic for years and years, plus you are saving the planet if you don’t use plastic.

5) Is everyone justifying their purchase by claiming to leave it to their new
born child? - No

6) How long until a stranger tells me to "wear it in good health?" - Not until you get your first watch

7) Will my watch winder pillow stretch my bracelet? - Why put it on a winder?

8) Is this 40mm watch too small on my 6.75" wrist? - No

9) Are AD waitlists real? - No, but you’ll only get a watch once you have built a relationship and are a preferred customer

10) Is a Rolex a good investment? - No watch is a good investment as a bubble can burst at any time.

11) Should I send my AD flowers? - Why?

There is lots of nonsense about what you need to do to get your first Rolex, for me it was simply going in and having a chat with one of the SA’s in the dealership.

I would advise being honest and open and working with them, it may have helped that my first watch choice was my DJ, that is why I went into the shop in the first place to get one, I will stress it was my choice, not fostered on me by the AD.

I try to work with one SA at all times, I believe that this helps the relationship, and it has worked so far for me.

This multiple choice is far too long. Reminds me of old school days.

So ... none of the above.
