" T Swiss Made T" off centered on vintages Ladies OP, Defect or Fake?
I just purchased a Lady Oyster Perpetual 26mm circa 1985 for my GF as an anniversary gift. It was purchased through eBay and passed their "Authenticity Guarantee." However, as I went back and looked over the photos I noticed that the Swiss Made print at the 6 o'clock induce was slightly off-centered. I'm not sure what to make of this. Was this a Rolex defect? Is it just the camera angle? I've found two other eBay listings of the same OP produced around the same years with the same issue. Was hoping some of guys would know more about this.
The first two are from the OP I purchased: |

Its probably ok, im not aware of fake 26mm dials unless the entire watch is fake and again, there wasnt much of a market for 26mm fakes.
In 1985 dials were being made by no less than 3 different manufacturers on contract with Rolex. There were variants between manufacturers and between different productions runs. Keep in mind that SWISS is 5 letters and MADE is only 4 letters so the centering will be lopsided.
