New models for October
Hi,
It looks like new models will be announced in October. What are your guesses or hopes? I will start: - Guess: update with 5396 and new Calatravas - Hope (but let's reserve it for next year): a third line in the sport/young segment. (cf. M. Stern's interview with Hodinkee in May 2021) |

Please don't try to pass off unsubstantiated gossip as fact. You are some random guy on an internet forum saying "it looks like models are coming" and then providing zero tangible evidence to back up your claim. It means nothing.

Isn't this entire forum, essentially, a gossip forum? Occasionally a nugget of pure truth will make its way onto the Forum where it is assiduously ignored. Tangible evidence should be the stuff of college textbooks, here we deal in rumor and innuendo, hyperbole and general nonsense. Anything else would be boring.

It's a forum for discussing watches that happens to have some gossip on it. Misinformation is misinformation and if asked to provide a source for a statement then people should be able to at least respond with something reasonable or plausible.

But it isn't always misinformation, often it's the formulation of information, seeds of the truth, if you will. Watch manufacturers are like the CIA or MI6, KGB. They tell you little to nothing but there are always leaks and the leaks make their way here to get fleshed out. Here they either grow into the truth or die. Whatever else they may be, they're always fun.

I wish there are 4 new blue Nautilus for Nautilus fans. SS or WG or P doesn't matter, as long as the dial is blue.

This would have me super interested in getting my first precious metal watch.
Love the numerals on the P. Display back with a movement to fit. Perfect.

PP publicly communicated that they are now releasing models following its schedule and not only in March/April.

It's quite plausible that PP would be introducing more models this year. Possibly the final bombshell that TS hinted regarding sending off the 5711? don't think it will be the replacement for the 5711....

My source... Nothing extraordinary, I simply heard people speaking business at the next table in a restaurant.
They did not say much, but it was more than credible. PS: Yes, I know it is not polite to listen to others' conversation. But when I hear Rolex, PP or other watch brand, it triggers my radar. :/ |

My guess... 5524 in titanium... A pp first; not likely but I'd love to see it. So light and would look so good with that blue dial, maybe a cream dial while I'm dreaming.
