1225 vs 1210

1225 - has a date. Diameter: 23.8mm, Height: 5.07mm
1210 - no date. Diameter:23.8mm, Height: 4.27mm
Both derived from the 1200, share some parts in common, but otherwise quite different and not interchangeable without mods.

I have noticed that you have recently made a number of post about 1210/1225 movements, handiest etc. Not sure if you are aware but the Rolex Service Centre is still servicing 1210/15 movements. I recently had my Oysterdate reference 6494 serviced by them which is fitted with a 1215 movement (date version of the 1210), so they still have plenty of spare parts (largely because the 1220/25 were used in the later reference 6696 through until the 1980s). Good luck getting your watch sorted.
