New pick up

I've picked up quite a few nice pieces from my AD over the last 4 years. This one came in last week.

I have the jubilee bracelet version but I've always preferred Rolex sports/professional models on oyster bracelets as I find the jubilee has more of a dressy look to it.

Congratulations! You can never go wrong with a nice Pepsi on Oyster.

May I ask how long your wait was?

Congratulations
I’ve seen a few of your recent incomings
Had to pause scrolling down for suspense
Even with your WG BLRO, it wasn’t hard to guess
How do they compare apart from the obvious weight difference

From the time I said I wanted one, approx 3 months. They are very slow in coming through. Much like the new meteorite Daytona's.

And this is at a flagship AD where they get 'larger' deliveries than smaller AD's.
And by larger I mean a handful.

Weight difference between my WG blue dial Pepsi is pretty significant.

The WG version is almost like wearing 2 watches on the wrist lol,

Damn! This is so good! Looks so good on oyster.! Just got a BLNR on oyster and my AD said the jubilee is for girls haha. The best part is there was a costumer who tried a datejust witch was wearing a blnr on jubilee. Priceless.

But congrats man!

Beautiful watch and someday I would like to add one to my collection.

That coffee looks awesome. I'm wondering how they made the decoration and if they use a shaker with a perforated opening in the shape of the coronet? It looks almost too uniform to be free hand?

They have a cut out metal stencil which they did themselves apparently and just sprinkled chocolate on top.

Yes not bad at all. Though they are coming through a bit slower.

Picked this one up in May and it was quicker than the Pepsi.

Good result. Congratulations.

I think it looks better on the Oyster. Brushed would be perfect for me but it's nice to have more than one bracelet to chose from now.

Yeah I checked your other incomings, I can understand.

How does it compare to your WG pepsi? You prefer this or the WG?

Wow. Between the Pepsi and the "JM" alone thats a massive haul much less any others that would be almost impossible for some of us to score via the A D route.

Congrats on the all of them and most of all your seemingly awesome A D relationship.

Congrats on the pick up! Please check back in a few months to let us know whether you grab the Oyster or Jubilee more. Maybe you'll surprise yourself!

Very nice. I think the BLRO looks great on oyster much more so than jubilee.

I have been waiting for nearly 2 years and still got nothing. Of course I haven't spent as much as u, incomparable, I also put my name down the one same as u, I guess. Anyway can't be bothered anymore, if it comes it comes if not, forget it.

Unfortunately its not first come first serve anymore (has it ever been?), even friendships with store managers don't count for much.

In the UK, most Rolex models are only sold to the customer under director approval only. And that's based purely on 'loyalty' to the store. By that they mean $$$$$$$$.

From my understanding I think Rolex is going to get involved with their super high demand pieces in that they will be part of the approval process. These are the rumours, how Rolex will police this with thousands of watch sales nobody knows.

Totally agree and I know. I have spent nearly £50K over 5 years and only got the root beer in 2020. I am moving to another AD somewhere not in London as i am not a big spender and can't compete with the millionaires.

I got most of the sought after models in Swiss prior to 2018 until they change the policy only for the locals because of the hype. The AD I dealt with they really first come first serve, of course they would take care of some VIPs but not many.

Anyway this is history and it is the same everywhere now. Just feel that the chance is very slim in London for me. I won't spend any in this AD anymore until they have got me at least one in the wishlist

Huge congrats by the way. The green yg daytona is awesome too. I have my name down for rg meteorite and I am sure I won't get it too. Haha.

That's quite the cup of coffee - really digging the fluted bezel on the cup :-)
