For those who had a DD40 for awhile, hows the bracelet holding up

Just curious for those that has had the DD40 for awhile how has the bracelet holding up? I know the ceramic pins are supposed to reduce bracelet stretch but has it eliminated it completely?

Shouldn’t worry about stretch at all to be honest. Only reason these bracelets would stretch is if you didn’t clean them regularly and the dirt and debris built up between the links. Or if you went to the beach on a regular basis and didn’t wash it afterwards.

Really a bit too early to tell (by a couple of decades) but I love both my DD40’s bracelet fit. Very comfortable.

My understanding was that bracelet stretch was mostly due to hollow links (rolled plate) of yester- year's design. Today's jubilee and president links are a solid so the only thing that would could cause the stretch look would be the bending of the link pins. The ceramic bushings (sleeves) mitigate much of that.

Mine is great, still very tight and attractive. I really like the President band, very striking.

Looks brand new still and very very tight.

They all have ceramic sleeves now so stretch should be a thing of the past. Had mine close to 5 years now.

It's the pins wearing the holes, especially if dirty. The piece of metal being worn away is still a piece of metal, if you see what I mean.

It can happen on newer bracelets too. They just wear a tiny bit away, over all the links it makes a difference.
