Rolex Submariner bracelet with broken link pin - 1990 era
A friend contacted me concerning his Rolex Submariner bracelet which had a failed link pin. See images. This is his daily worn watch which he purchased in the 1990s. He dropped into a local AD in Seattle(while traveling) and they said that he has to purchase a new bracelet. Can this bracelet be repaired? Keeping the authenticity of this 1 owner watch?
BTW: I am a long time watch enthusiast since the the 80s and own several Rolexes and among other brand timepieces. This is my 1st post, mainly a lurker. Thanks for your assistance (in California) |

I see you are in CA, rolliworks can repair it: https://www.rolliworks.com That shouldn’t be to costly to fix. Btw, if that is a 90s sub that isn’t the original bracelet…

I may have mistaken the year, it does have the solid end-links. Thanks Tomas for the fast reply.

Easy fix, as others have mentioned. Keep wearing her daily and enjoy your time.

A Rolex spring bar or pins is actually very inexpensive to replace if needed.
In general, Rolex doesn't repair broken or worn-out clasps, so to do this, you need to turn to a professional independent watchmaker that is specialized in the repair of Rolex bracelets. |

If necessary, replacing a Rolex spring bar or pins is actually rather affordable. In most cases, Rolex won't fix damaged or worn-out clasps, so you'll need to consult a qualified, professional watchmaker who specializes in fixing Rolex wristbands.
