Came across this piece.....curious to hear some of the experts share their opinion. I know it's polished and I think welded and recut. Please chime in. Thanks so much.

24-hour hand would be on the bottom of the hand stack if it was a 1675.

OP, the pics are a little small to give a true impression of condition. But, even with the size of the pics, I do think you are correct on the case refinish, given the shiny polished sides and clearly defined chamfers in contrast with that scratched and faded insert. I like it! Although, I would wait for the experts to chime in as I am not one of them.

Not a 16700, looks like a 16750. All depends on price but you need better pictures to get any feedback.

As with all things, it comes down to price. If it was 8k, sure. If its 16k, their are better options.
