15400 white dial although bracelet is way too flashy for formal dress.

Too long, my friend! Everything is alright here, although I wish the world was in a better stage so we could be closer to friends and loved ones. Hope you and your family are healthy and well!

On the watch conundrum, first I gotta say: what an amazing collection!

Of those choices, I’d pick the 15400. It can handle a more formal occasion and is such a stunning piece.

Cheers!

If it’s an actual formal event, the answer is “not a Rolex.”

If in reality it’s semi-formal or below, i.e. you’re not wearing a bowtie, then any of the above will do…

None of the above is the right answer here. I voted for the AP but as pointed out previously none of these would be appropriate for a formal event.

15400ST is the closest option for dress watch.

I apologize, I am not familiar with the reference numbers.
To me, a gold watch to likely match your gold studs / cufflinks.
I wore this last weekend, to a wedding in New Orleans, with my Tuxedo / gold studs / gold cufflinks …

Of course it's an option. One shouldn't be concerned about the time while attending a formal event.

Of course you can but I like not wearing a watch when I wear a tuxedo..not that I wear it often but it feels more special and formal to be old school ..at least for me.

None of these are suitable for a formal event in my eyes.
But nowadays anything goes according to some, even trainers under a tux

Your wedding - your choice.

I’m old so I still have some old school notions of what constitutes proper attire for particular events.

Other than the AP, every other watch you listed is a tool watch.
AP is my answer!
