Thoughts on this 1675

Hi, I'm considering this 1675: https://imgur.com/a/vCedLmu

Are all parts correct? I can see clear chamfers in the last picture. Is it possible that this was recut? The lugs feel a bit thin to my untrained eye.

I've been looking for this exact light blue/orange kind of fade for a while. The condition looks great too. But the asking price is quite high at 28k, without box and papers.

Any thoughts and feedback will be appreciated.

Looks like an artificially faded bezel (bleach and sandblast)

Here's the pic of the ref number. I don't have the serial number but I will ask.

They usually do not give out pics of full serials, do you know the first couple of numbers of the serial? The year they are claiming the watch to be. Also, you would want a picture of the caseback.

The price as you mention is quite high but the condition appears the best. Just want to make sure all lines up, which most likely will.

Number 4 lume plot looks bleached - probably just the lighting that’s a lot of $ without seeing the watch in hand or better photos in natural light

It's 2.90mil serial from 1972. Looks like a late Mark 1 Long E dial.

The other shots show very even patina, so almost certainly just the lighting.

So you want to follow up with a picture of the caseback, which could be 70 or 71 based on the serial; and movement.

I would double check that insert. I doubt its authenticity. Could you ask for a straight shot of the insert? or the back? along with what others asked for....Not an example I would pay that much for. Somethings up with the lume, maybe painted.

I think it looks good, correct. Would like to see it from other angles to check the polish (bottom left) but from the one pic it appears to be a solid, late MK1. 2.9M case kinda late but fine.

Yeah price is high but who knows... I saw one in worse condition go for that price at auction a couple of weeks ago...

The bezel insert isn’t genuine and the case has been re cut.

Check the back of the insert. I’d bet it’s from crownartcustoms, looks good, but I bet it’s blue on the back.

2.9 cases are normally Mark I with the occasional Mark II found there also

Check the lume again, try some magnification. The 6, 7 and 8 markers look a little thin to me.
