Tackiest Day-Date ever??? (Value???)

Two questions: 1) Could this be the tackiest Day-Date ever? and 2) What is something like this valued?

That's a Tridor 3 colour gold type bracelet from the 1980s like everything value is what someone is willing to pay for it, not my cup of tea at any price though. But got to admire the skill on choosing matching and setting the stones thats quite costly in labour hours.

Take away the presentation ,which may not be attractive to some, and look at the work that went into making this model.

It is a piece of art.

1) Subjective. I don't think it is and would gladly rock that all day long.

2) In this market anywhere between 10k and 1,000,000

I actually think it's better looking and (and I can't believe I'm saying this!) more restrained than some of those Daytona Rainbow/Leopard/"Eye of the Tiger" monstrosities.

I agree with most others that as a piece of art it's beautifully executed, but just like I wouldn't wear a Picasso as a cape, I personally wouldn't wear a jewelled watch like that at any price.

It's clear that some men go for this kind of iced up bling while others hate it. Personally I think this is hideous and I wouldn't wear it on a dare (except perhaps on Halloween if I went dressed as a rapper or something). Might be a nice look for Britney Spears or a footballer's WAG but pretty sure many women who collect watches like Ellen Degeneres and Brooke Shields would even shun this thing.

Kind of a wild piece - I’ve seen all gold variants w that dial bezel combination but never a Tridor before.

Oddly enough this piece falls directly into the contemporary vibe and hype niche. Way before its time and wondrous how Rolex is eventually vindicated years later when initially unloved watches hit the stratosphere during changes in taste.
