Bracelet resizing tools
I’m looking for the correct screwdriver for resizing and properly securing the bracelet on my new Speedmaster 1861 (005 model with the two screw design holding the pin in place).
I’ve read up on it here and elsewhere and couldn’t pinpoint it. If I read correctly it’s a 1.9 screw slot. Can’t find a screwdriver from the top brands like Bergeon for this. Others said that 2.0 is fine. Which I believe would also be the right size to work on my Rolex Sea Dweller 16600. Can anyone confirm the size and recommend a solid tool? Otherwise I’m planning on getting a plastic bracelet holder and some Loctite 222 to secure everything. |

I guess you should have a complete set to be on the safe side.
This is what I have which covers pretty much everything I need. Nothing expensive but they do the job flawlessly |

Not sure the exact size to recommend, but I can say that Esslinger.com is a source I find useful for such things. I did a very brief check on their site but didn't see reference material for what screwdrivers work with the bracelet you're working on, but once you know the answer then they should have good options.

I went into my Omega Boutique last year as my Seamaster bracelet was starting to wear loose. They adjusted free of charge. Complimentary service. My watch was 23 years old
Just if that saved you the cost of the screwdrivers plus you get a look at the watches while there doing the adjustment |
