Icon17 FS: 1986 2 Tone Rolex Sub 16613

Its time to sell my Blue and Gold Sub.

This model 16613 is in excellent condition. There are some minor scrapes on the bezel by the pearl, and light scratching on the band, consistent with light ware. The bezel rotates properly. The band is in excellent condition with little to no sag. The Clasp closes firmly. Tthe wet suit extension locks firmly in the clasp and pulls out without undue effort. The dial has the correct "swiss-T < 25" marking at its base. The serial number shows this is a 1986 vintage.

Its hard to believe that this watch over 20 years old.

The asking price is $5000, or you can look into the 2 newer 16613s each posted for over $6000.

I will trade this for a Steel GMT-2C.
If you don't have one of these ceramic beauties, please don't offer a trade.

Included with the watch are the boxes, warranty paperwork, submariner and oyster booklets, the Roles factory service booklet, and service receipts from the 10/99 and 12/08 services.

The watch was been serviced by Rolex on 12/08, 10/99, and 4/90. I bought this watch about 8 months ago, but it feels to formal compared to a Steel Sub or Sea Dweller. I have worn this watch less that 10 times, and it's to nice to just be a winder decoration.

OK, I picked up a deal on a GMT-IIC so I no longer need one of those.

I'll consider trades for other watches. If you have a Green Sub and you want to work something out, send me a PM.

I'm also keen on Omegas Planet Oceans.

Come on folks. This may be a collectable as it's the oldest blue gold Sub that I have ever seen, and it has its papers + a recent service. What could be better?!

New Price. I have seen a few other similar watches listed, so I have decided to drop the price of this watch to $4500.

Great Price! Take this baby home with you!

I'm Bumping this up to get back where folks can see this.

I have had a few offers for trade, but because I have not been to specific on what I will trade for I have had to disappoint a few board members.

So, in the interest of fair commerce, I'll list a few watches that I have interests in.

Rolex Green Sub
Zenith Class Open or El Primero
Omega Planet Ocean Chrono
IWC Portuguese Automatic Chronograph or 7
Bell & Ross 01-93 GMT or 03-92 Military

Steel, not gold, and I'm glad to work out some watch +/- $$ either way depending on the watch.

OK, Someone out there must have a hankerin' for a Blue & Gold sub, and a Green sub sitting unloved somewhere.
