Which one ???
Hi,
Looking at new watch to add to my collection… it’s either a explorer 2 black face or a seadweller 4000, already got a a deepsea/Cameron and a 50th anniversary… leaning towards the sea dweller 4000 ? Thoughts Can’t up load pictures some reason |

As an owner of the 3 sea dwellers I have to say the sd4000 wears much smaller than sd43 and the DSSD. It’s a great watch but the difference in size and feel is huge. Just wanted to let you know in case you have not tried one on. And if you’d like the presence of the other two, you may not be as pleased with the sd4k.

I'd say neither are high in value as investment pieces, fwiw. The SDs had a habit of sitting and staying on shelves and the Exp II has always had a bit of a stigma about it. In this case I'd just go with the one you like the best.

This isn't the right piece for investment, you should go for Daytona/Pepsi/Blue Sky D........

Love the non-cyclops of the SD4k and you will love it at first. Over time you will notice that it is just a little too top heavy compared to sub/gmt/exp II. Matte dial is nice too. But at the end of the day, it’s all about how it feels while wearing.

I thought 50 anniversary is Sd4000?
Or you mean Kermit?

The orange on the Exp II makes the dial stand out a little in a sea of all black dials.

Big congratulations ! I had it since 2016, it’s a masterpiece I ended trading it this week for a 116500 as it was very heavy and tall on my wrist. Enjoy it in good health! Fantastic watch ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
