Aftermarket PCL Oyster Bracelet for new GMT Master II
Any recommendations for a good aftermarket PCL oyster bracelet for the new GMT Master ii? I have the new Pepsi on Jubilee and would like an oyster to swap between. My AD told me they won't sell me one without turning in my original bracelet so look to have to source aftermarket. Please post pics if you have one. Thanks!

Availability:
1. The oyster option is still within the 12 months lock-up period, which means that as it hasn't gone 12 months since its release, the system only allows for replacement. 2. If your 126710 came on jubilee, you can't add the oyster yet without returning your jubilee (but you will be able to once it has been out more than a year). 3. If your 126710 came on oyster you can order the jubilee as an add (and keep your oyster) on as that configuration has been out more than a year. This is the best explanation to date. If you can wait until after April 7 that will be a year since the release they should be available for purchase. |

“Good” and “aftermarket” in the same sentence is a misnomer.
If you insist though, check out etsy

I would try to get a BLNR on oyster at retail and wait, or spend the 3k on a new bracelet. Either option is better than an aftermarket option. They won’t feel the same and they certainly are not good. At least the few i have seen are not.

That’s not a bad price, my older style bracelet for a 5 digit was £1k.

Best option would be to wait until after April 7th as per EagleBear’s post above.
Another option would be to source a 116710 or 116234/116200 oyster, which could probably be had a little cheaper but AD likely won’t sell it to you if you don’t own that reference. New jub for 126710 is 2100+tax so guessing an oyster will be in the vicinity of that |

I enquired a couple of times and they said it's not possible.
They told me I can have another Pepsi on an Oyster instead which when you think about the price of the bracelet is probably a better deal |

I understand people wearing their Rolex on leather strap, rubber or nato strap. But why on earth would you wear your new Rolex on an aftermarket bracelet?? Apart from fit, the quality and finish will be miles away from Rolex standards.

I'd wait until the Oyster bracelet becomes available through your AD.
If not willing to wait, I'd buy an authentic 78200 on the FS section. No way would I put an aftermarket bracelet on mine. |
