the watch looks good and an A serial is correct for 1998-2000, sellers feedback is virtually nil so I would not deal with unless you can do a face to face transaction. money seems ok for a watch this age. are there any Rolex service documents? the recent service was carried out by who?

OK, sorry, just noticed the auction has ended, I guess you were the winner. I am sure others will comment, you can get maximum protection by paying via paypal with a credit card. that way if something is wrong or mis represented you have two avenues of recourse. so chances are high that you get your money back.

I am sure all is ok just his lack of feedback worries me as a buyer. you have obviously had communication with him by some means so I guess its your call.

The watch was "serviced" by a non-authorized dealer...something just seems fishy
