Bergeon 7825 Alternative
I’ve read a lot of great things about the Bergeon 7825 ($150). Most agree that it’s worth it. But me being me, I was curious to see if an alternative option exists.
Most people know about the Horofix tweezers. They run about $85. Not bad. I found these Amazon tweezers for $20. Slapped some Horofix angled tips ($25) and now I have a very functional tool. Here is a comparison of the Horofix angled tip va the original tip.

that's really interesting. This sort of swap out is not economical for me because of shipping costs to Aus form Esslinger but for US folk that looks like it would work.
I like horofix, they are a good mid-ground between bergeon and nasty cheap stuff. |
