What surprised you with the amount of wrist time it gets?

Sure we all have some great watches. What’s a sleeper that surprised you and gets more wrist time than others in the collection that maybe cost a whole lot more or were a lot harder to get?

Mine’s the Norqain Neverest. Even though the bracelet is surprisingly good, on a NATO it’s just so comfortable and makes for some easy and enjoyable wearing. Plus my 4 year old made the decision of whether or not we left it in the store or took it home. “You gotta get that one dad, you gotta.”

I wore my Datejust striaght through the first 18months of covid. I hadn't really worn it often for a few years before that.
Right watch for the time, it felt like.

If you put a gun to my head and told me to pick one watch out of my collection to wear everyday, for every occasion, it would probably be that one

Bought this mid Jan, but surprised I wear it almost every day. And all the time; this coming from someone who doesn't wear his watches to bed -- I find there's no real need to even take it off now.

For me it has been the Urwerk UR-100. Honestly I thought that whilst it was an awesome addition to the collection, it wouldn't really be a "daily driver" per se as I thought it may be difficult to read. However once in hand, Im literally wearing this now 70% of the time, 1) because its so light and comfortable and deceptively thin, but 2) its actually SUPER easy to read once you get used to it, because you're literally just looking at a horizontal plane. Real surprise for me.

Since i've been regulating this timepiece for fun, she's now -1.5 seconds/day and makes a great 'who cares' daily beater. VERY comfy strap, and lightweight head, make her very easy to wear as a daily.

What surprised you with the amount of wrist time it gets?

for me the 39.5mm glashutte original seaQ on fabric strap.

I obviously knew I liked it, but I’ve been wearing it more often than any other watch I own by far which has been a surprise.

My Dietrich SD-1. I thought it’s a fun watch to get for occasional wear, but didn’t think I’d wear it as much as I do. I guess it’s the newest in my collection and that might be it. Nevertheless, it’s a nice easy watch to wear.

My nearly 90 year old Gruen Quadron. Most comfortable watch I own. Never looks out of place. Works just as well with a t shirt and jeans as it does with a suit.

Just a watch that surprised you with how much you are wearing it. Maybe you have other nicer watches but you find yourself reaching for something else while your other watches just sit in the box.

Bought an FXD as a “beater” watch to take on vacations, however it’s so comfortable it’s become my go to.

Enjoying wearing this, more than I thought - originally purchased as a beater. It's not the limited edition and gains +15-20secs a day so I may get it regulated.

I dont think any surprise me cause i buy them all with confidence ill wear them a lot. I do have the opposite though where my datejust gets zero wear anymore. Its been at the bank without being missed for probably a year. I think its gorgeous too i just never feel the need to wear I always rather grab something else which I suppose means its time to let go to someone who would appreciate it and wear.
