Thank you. I think I sneaked in at the right time. The demand seems to have exploded after I put in my order.

Very happy with this piece as it can give me a taste of Voutilainen before the Vingt8 arrives.

Thanks and can you still order a LM101? I was told by multiple ADs that MB&F stops taking order. But hope I was wrong. Good luck.

Thank you and how are you doing with the 5172? I heard AD stops taking order for blue now?

My wife and I used to feel LMs are odd looking and they do grow on you. Now that I have one in my hand, I can see the work and thoughts going into it. I wish I had bought a LM2 back it was trading at 50% off list at used market.

I probably need to wait until 2024 or so. I do not have the exact answer now. Should be clear a few days later.

The Taiwan MAD Gallery told my friend about two weeks ago that there are 600 people on the LM101 waitlist globally. Not sure if it is just at the MAD Gallery or with all ADs too.

I'm doing great, still loving the 5172 and wearing it every chance I get.

I'm not too sure about new orders as I haven't been back to the AD in a while. The last time I was there I asked for a Rolex for my wife and I but I still haven't heard anything yet... not sure if I ever will

Thank you!

It is very comfortable and wears smaller than the 40mm size. I never have a LM before and was concerned with the dome but even with the LMX’s extra tall dome, it did not feel like an issue. So it is even less of a concern on a LM101. It slips under a long sleeve shirt easily.

The only minor flaw is the deployant buckle. It is a little pinchy and open/close different from other brands. But overall, it is a very special piece as soon as you hold it in your hand.

I think I am now in trouble as MB&F is fast becoming my favorite name…

lol yeah, I should stop by soon then to thank him (and possibly ask for a 5326G for next year)

Enjoy the MB&F, can't wait to see what else you have coming.

Yes. Bring him chocolate and flowers for his “effort”

I don’t expect anything interesting this year anymore but very hopeful for next year. Praying to the watch gods

did you ask other AD or boutique regarding the 101 order? do they really stop take new orders or not take orders before 2023? it is really hard to believe that 60k+ watch has so much long waiting list. Usually the watch with the long waiting list is because there is obvious price gap between the retail and the secondary market.

Both my AD and another AD in Paris told me they stop taking any LM101 order for a while already. They are both in Europe so I am not sure if is specific to Europe. I think I may have read or watch somewhere that Max also said something to the same effect.

Max said that the LM101 is MB&F’s Chronometre Bleu. Maybe he got his wish

I also own CB, but I think LM 101 is even better. At the CB secondary price point, I would definitely go for Lm101.

I saw the KV inscription on the movement. does it mean that the movement is made and finished by KV? Thanks.

My understanding is that Kari is involve in the movement aesthetics like bridge architect and finishing. The MB&F team did the engineering as this is the first full in-house movement. Hopefully some MB&F can add/correct me if I am wrong.

The movement does have a lot of Voutilainen feel to it. And hence I am super excited with this arrival so I can have a taste of KV.
