Breitling Navitimer 806 (c 1961)


Up for sale is my mint, early, all-black dialed 1961 Breitling Navitimer 806. I looked for a couple of years to find an early 806 “the One to have” and this was it. I wore it for a few months and decided I wanted a perfect, vintage 806 so I sent to the premiere vintage Breitling expert, Mark Heist, at Horological Services. It spent 7 months with Mark at a cost of $2200 to receive a full restoration and service, completed in May 2021 (paperwork provided on request). Receipt will be included with the sale.

The watch was worn sparingly after restoration, as shown by its current condition. Included in the photos are the watch’s results on timegrapher app, showing it at +4s/day.

This is the rare, All Black Dial, 806 chronos. These are becoming difficult to find, especially in such sorted condition with no issues or hidden faults what so ever.

The watch comes on a black leather strap, as well as with a Breitling travel case, 806 pamphlet on slide-rule operation, and as well as the original crystal/bezel/slide rule.
