5513 pip replacement

Does anyone have a suggestion about a good source for a pip replacement?

I was looking on ebay, and I found someone selling one that looked close, but it looked like it had a little bit too much glass around the edges:

I think the center part is usually a little bit wider than it appears on this piece.

Two things.

1) It is coming from Hong Kong - expensive shipping from there.
2) It does not look like an original Rolex pearl.

Normally, decent pearls sell for $250 and more from vintage dealers.

Yes, absolutely. The last one I bought was $300. And then I accidentally dropped in on the floor and it took me about half an hour to find it with the help of a UV flashlight.

I can relate! Several years ago I was out in the garage shop and was cleaning a vintage Sub in the sink. Needless to say, when the job was all finished, I noticed I had scrubbed the pearl right out of the insert. I looked high and low in the sink and never found it. I thought that maybe it got caught in the gunk that accumulates in the drain trap and decided to give it a look. Low and behold, I removed the pipe elbow from under the drain and couldn't believe it. There it was - among the gunk and crud that probably saved it from proceeding further down the drain pipe and off into eternity.

Amazing that you found it in the trap. When they are loose, you truly realize just how small they really are. At the time, I briefly recruited my wife to help me look for it, and when I found it and showed it to her, she couldn't believe the tiny thing I had been searching for ... and that I actually found it. IIRC, she insisted on taking a photo with the pearl next to my finger so she could mock me on Facebook.

What would be the recommended glue to re-attach a loosen pip on a Rolex bezel insert?
