Icon5 Rolex Oyster Sterling Silver case info needed

I have a sterling silver Rolex 3 piece cushion case
The inside of the case back is marked…
ROLEX
16 World’s Records
Gold Medal
Geneva-Suisse
.925
55299
63
The outside of the case back just has 55299

I’m trying to work out when it was made and what cal movement should be in it.

The 16 World's Records case back was used around 1927 to 1929, and there might also be some other silver hallmarks that could give more accurate dating.

A lot of silver Rolex watches of that period in the UK had Glasgow hallmarks so you might be able to find a Glasgow Assay Office mark (possibly two opposing Fs) with a date letter alongside.

Good quality photos of all the hallmarks would help a lot.

This. The hallmarks will tell us where and when the watch was imported into the U.K.

It's weird being the same age as old people.

The only hallmark on the case back is the rampant bear Swiss one to the right of the 0.925 stamp. Unfortunately no date codes were used with the Swiss assay system and the only extra information from this is that the bear hallmark was discontinued in 1933.

There don't appear to be any Swiss export marks or any UK import hallmarks so it's possible this watch was bought in Switzerland, probably in the late 1920s.

The serial number might help a bit in further dating, not from the published charts but by looking at other mid to late 1920s and early 1930s Oyster cased watches to see if there is a useful pattern.

I’ve tried Google and eBay to see if I could find another with the same markings but so far have struck out…
Using the Rolex dating charts seemed to indicate different years
