16710 gmt??

I’m looking at buying a used 16710 GMT from a local watch and jewelry store. The watch looks like it is in good condition for a 2006 and the store that is selling it has been in the area for 30 years but they are not a Rolex authorized dealer.

What should I be asking or looking for when buying this watch?

They say that the watch is all original and the mechanics are all original. I somewhat trust their word and their experience, but want to make sure I do my due diligence.

.
Welcome to the forum!

Take a few pictures of the watch/bracelet and post here. Will also show condition of the watch.
Find out year of production, first three digits of the serial will help.
Get the clasp information to check for a match on the watch's year of production.
Everything else, with pictures, will help folks here help you out.

Does it come with papers? Always feel better with papers. Service history from RSC?

Is this the first one you've seen?? Why not spend a couple months doing some research (due diligence)?? Afraid that you'll figure out what to ask and what to look for?

There are plenty of other 2006 models on the market to compare any other watch to. Why rush?
