Love the faded black, strap compliments it well. GMTs are so versatile when it comes to inserts, just many fun option when it comes to inserts. Also interesting looking black rubber strap too. Never seen that before.

Love your Gold GMT, so very versatile. This is the 16710 on the oysterflex.

Hi Jay Kay, beautiful shot. Love it. I don’t know if I love the watch more or the landscape. I am on the hunt for another GMT or another watch for that matter. I need a stainless. Flex on Flex.

JP, I can only imagine the pieces that have crossed your hands. All the pieces you have sourced. You must have seen em all. I love the Smokey grey black. I absolutely love the fuchsia. Great stuff as usual.

I kind of was sweating you replied, I thought I was going to be told they were all fake

@BigBlue, @Jay_Kay, @Springer those are some great pics, and that is a nice selection of inserts BigBlue! I have been experimenting a bit too. Some old and some new. I think I'm done, unless I sell them all (except for my original…) and start over.

Thanks for sharing time lord. Those are all great looking. I love that fourth photo, look how the sun hits the dial and insert, looks like an arm in space hit by the light.

Looks like you have a nice collection of root beer inserts. Way to go!

Now, if I can get lazerflorida to stop by, maybe he'll break out his fuchsias and other vintage GMT inserts and post some of them up here.

Thanks! Funny thing is when I bought the watch the ad said it came with both the noir and pepsi serif inserts, but somehow after I purchased it and looked at the ad it said it came with the original noir insert and an aftermarket pepsi insert. Here's the photo from the original ad with the serif pepsi insert on the watch. At the time, I was so happy to get the watch I didn't make it an issue.

Here are a few more photos from the collection. The super fat font still resides in my collection of inserts as well as the Submariner insert.

The group shot is from a few years ago with many of them now in new homes.

My favorite is the the second row middle Pepsi orange. That’s my favorite and I have been looking. I saw one a long time ago Brian had for sale but didn’t strike. That faded ghost Salmon is awesome. Of course can’t help but notice the Fatty. Beautiful shot.

Yes.I’d say I like them equally so it’s a coin flip but definitely an aspect of the older gmt that makes me prefer them to the modern version.
