Wanting more info (value) on a vintage root beer

My wife is considering purchasing an older model rootbeer. This watch would be her first Rolex and appeals to her especially since it’s got the brown face and 2 tone jubilee bracelet since the newer ones only come with the oyster.
Issue is I don’t know if it’s a fair price since reference comps for me are difficult to find for a vintage rootbeer. Comes with card, box and 2 year warranty. Watch is in great shape and just serviced.
Anywhere I can look to find what a fair value would be?

You will need to post detailed information and photos to get any sort of meaningful response. We don't even know what reference you're referring to, we don't know if it's all original, we don't know the condition ... nothing. We also can't tell you if you've been offered a fair price since we don't know the asking price. The experts on this forum are usually great about helping new members, but you will probably need to try a little harder.

Welcome to the forum! Posting some images of the watch you have i mind would be a good place to start otherwise you will just get a string of answers like Mr. Blobby’s witty repost.

Click on Go Advanced, then Manage Attachments. The server only allows uploading small files, so you will need to crop out anything unnecessary and downsize the images. Once you have 10 posts, you can post BBCode links to photos hosted elsewhere, e.g. Imgur.

Detailed instructions for posting pictures as attachments to your posts:

Embedding attachments in Rolex Forums posts

Here are instructions for attaching a .jpg image to your post. It must be less than 293 kiloBytes in size, so if it's larger than that you'll have to resize it using one of the free online apps on the net like https://www.resize2mail.com/

1. Click on "Post Reply" at the bottom of the last post in the thread.

2. In the "Additional Options" window, click on "Manage Attachments."

3. In the window that opens, click the top "Choose File" and then enter the file name of the .jpg file on your hard drive you want to embed in your post. Click "Upload." If your file is too large you will be told, and you'll have to reduce the file size below 293 kB.

4. Close that window, click "Preview Post" to preview your post, and if it looks OK click "Submit Reply."

You will have to include some text (a short sentence will do) in your post.

It's weird being the same age as old people.
