Rolex Day-Date 36 Pink Opal / Ref 128239-0021

FS: Rolex Day-Date 36 Pink Opal / Ref 128239-0021

Description:

For your consideration is this Rolex Day-Date in solid 18k white gold with an incredible pink opal dial. As a package, it's simply one of the most visually striking watches we've ever seen. This particular version was first released in 2019 and, as with all Rolex stone dials, is incredibly rare both at retail and on the secondary market. Indeed, this is the first time we've ever seen one of the these watches in person (and likely the last).

As if the stunning pink opal dial wasn't enough, the hand-set Roman numeral diamond hour markers on this watch elevate the watch to an even higher level. Rolex is known for using only the highest quality gemstones selected by its team of in-house gemologists, and the way in which the diamonds capture and play with the light on this timepiece is nothing short of spectacular. The diamonds are set in white gold to prevent tarnishing. It’s all perfectly punctuated by the polished white-gold hands and Rolex crown logo set on the dial at the 12 o’clock position.

The solid 18k white gold “Oyster” case is water-resistant up to 100 metres and features a screw-down twin-lock crown, fluted bezel and is highly polished along all its surfaces.

The watch is fitted on the iconic “Presidents” bracelet with gloss-polished centre-pieces and satin brush-finished side-pieces. When compared with most metal bracelets, the smaller-than average links on this President’s bracelet make the watch an absolute joy to wear as they comfortably flow around the circumference of the wrist without any rigidness. It also features a hidden folding clasp which neatly tucks in underneath the bracelet when on the wrist.

Powering the watch is Rolex’s new calibre 3255 featuring Chronergy escapement, blue Parachrom hairspring, quick-set day-date display, running centre-seconds, seconds hacking function and 70-hour power reserve. The movement is an officially certified Superlative Chronometer, guaranteeing superb timekeeping performance.

The watch is in brand-new, unworn condition.

The watch comes as a complete set box and papers.

Price: $89,500 AUD.

Complimentary fully-insured international shipping via FedEx Priority.
