2004 Rolex 16618 Y Serial Submariner Date 18K YG Factory Serti Dial Box & Papers SEL

For sale is a very good condition 40mm 18 karat yellow gold Rolex Submariner Date. The Y serial 16618 was originally purchased in 2004, and is accompanied by its original box and paper set, which is quite extensive ! Included in the box and papers set are: a green Rolex outer box, a wooden inner box, the original dated warranty paper, a serialized hang tag, a gold Rolex anchor, four instruction manuals, an instruction manual holder, a bezel protector, a Rolex COSC hang tag, a brown calfskin leather Rolex card holder wallet, and a Rolex handkerchief.

The Submariner features a brushed yellow gold case, which is accented by an unidirectional yellow gold divers bezel that is set with a blue divers insert. The Rolex is mounted on its original 93258 solid yellow gold Solid End Link Oyster bracelet, which contains 10 full size links, excluding the two additional divers extension links. The Oyster bracelet will comfortably fit up to a 7.2 inch wrist. The Rolex features a champagne factory set Serti diamond dial with applied diamond and sapphire hour markers, yellow gold luminous hands, and a magnified date window aperture at 3 o’clock. The movement used in the 16618 is the Rolex Caliber 3135, which is running well, and features approximately 48 hours of power reserve.

The Rolex’s case has been preserved well and contains even fairly thick lugs. The Oyster bracelet has also been preserved well as it contains virtually no stretch, remaining in approximately 95% condition, while the coronet on the clasp remains present and somewhat crisp. The case and bracelet do contain some signs of previous wear in the form of scuffs on their high polish accents. Overall the Rolex is in very good condition with the only imperfections being the scuffs on its high polish accents, and a faint mark on the crystal’s AR coating in between 6 and 7 o’clock, and would be mint with a light refinish.

Shall deliver for $28,795
