Easily removed. Four screws. Good question. I'm going to take it to the next get together, but didn't want folks touching the documents.

Very nice display.

Just a thought of mine but have you thought about having some nice color copies made of the documents and mount the copies. I doubt anyone would know the difference if properly copied at office depot. You could then put the original docs away in a safe where they would be well protected.

Good idea. I'll probably just take it to a couple ofngwt togethers. It will go in the safe otherwise.

Looks very nice. I’d be careful of sun damage if I were you. Standard acrylic offers no protection, so ensure you don’t display it near any windows.

I’ve got some old stamps that were sandwiched like that back in the 90s and they have faded by about 75%.

Great input. Agree. Looks like it will stay in the safe short of a get together or two. The idea of copies to display is a good one.

As for thoughts on serial numbers.... I don't worry as I have full prominence and chain of custody of this watch since it left the Hong Kong shop. If I had any concerns I'd be more careful.

Why wouldn’t you. Not everyone in this forum is honest although we would like to think so. Think of it as a watches SSN. Shouldn’t be shared with anyone unless of course you are selling the watch and they want to verify it isn’t stolen. Other than that it isn’t needed. You can garner enough info from the first two numbers if you need to place it in a period.

exactly. I meant in these photos. Wasn't suggesting OP blur it out in the actual docs.

That's not the concern really, more that fakers will use that S/N as they know it's real.

Personally I'd blur the previous owners name and address too, just out of respect.
