Long time lurker, first time poster.
Hello all!
Been a long time lurker here and decided it was time to create an account. A little about me. My name is Dan and I live in Arizona. Been into watches for as long as can remember. Started with Casio and Timex as a kid and eventually went with Seiko but never an automatic. It was when my wife bought me an SKX007 for an anniversary that I really fell in love with them. That fact that all those tiny little parts do what they do is fascinating to me. A few years back I finally decided I wanted to get a luxury watch and after months of looking, reading reviews, and of course watching YouTube, I decided on a Tudor Black Bay(as seen in my avatar). I really wanted a 114060 Sub but at the time I just couldn't justify it and chose the Tudor. I still love my Tudor but am now at a point where I am ready to step up and get a No Date. This will be a 20+ year work anniversary gift to myself and having tried on many other brands over the past year I find the Sub is just so good. I’m rambling. Looking forward to learning more and hopefully scratching my Rolex itch VERY soon. |
