Not really a new thread -- gmt ii-ceramic
FACE: I love the Maxi Dial.
DIAL: The layout is nice. Printing looks fine. LUME: Not impressed at all by the lume on the GMT II-C. BEZEL: In pictures I did not like the size of the numbers on the bezel, but in real life they look fine, I suppose they are big since this watch is oriented towards travelers. The overall finish looks good, all the numbers look even to the naked eye. The serrated edge of the bezel is really serrated, you could almost cut bone with it. It's bi-directional. HANDS: To the naked eye they look just fine. The green gives it a nice contrast but I suppose just about any color would do the same. CROWN: Pretty much set it the same way as my OMEGA GREAT WHITE GMT. SUPER CASE: I didn't notice much difference between this watch and my SS Sub, except when I look at it from the side. Yes, there is a difference, I know, but it's not a big stand out (from my optic). BRACELET: What a squeaker!!!! Mine really squeaks. But the bracelet is nice, I like and don't like the (SCL's) = Scratched Center links........I might as well call them that and not polished center links because I figure in a few days it will be blessed with many scratches. CLASP: Gee, the clasp is much better on this than on the Sub. I wonder how long it took Rolex to figure this one out????? Years...........years............years............ . |
