First Vintage Rolex - 5513 - Advice Seeking

Hi guys,

First thread on here, happy to be a part of the community.

I have a few 'modern' rolexes but my heart has been stolen by vintage and after a lot of research I am ready to take the plunge... and my heart has settled on a 5513, preferably Maxi dial (love the lumes!).

I am looking at either one of these, and hoping for your opinions on what would be a better buy? Are there any obvious flaws i'm missing? Why is the Mk2 more expensive than the Mk1? Both seem reasonably priced.

Thanks a lot - I think I’m leaning towards the Mk1 because you know, it’s the Mk1.

Let’s be honest, im sure I’ll also end up getting a 2, a lollipop, etc etc haha
