Good luck, it’s worth the money, if not the wait

In my state there is only one Omega AD and they have told me they have never gotten and Ed White (I purchased the 3861 sapphire sandwich from them).
Every time I visit a OB in NYC, LV or Chicago, the SAs tell me I need at least $50K in spend history to get on any kind of list (the EW is the only other Omega I want). Is the grey market my only option? It seems crazy this is so hard to get.

You won’t find one at an AD. My understanding from everyone I’ve talked to and the reading I’ve done, is that it’s Omega Boutique only. I believe one member here said he bought one at an AD It’s the only one I’ve ever heard of. Everyone’s story is unique … here’s mine: Here, we have one boutique in our whole country. When I started to get serious about the 321, I went to a prominent AD in Toronto and was told that they’d put me on their “list” if I paid a 50% deposit. I had no issue with this other than they could not give me a specific delivery time frame. They said it might be years. This gave me pause. After doing more research here and talking to a few helpful members, I registered my interest with the boutique. 7 months later, I had my Ed White. |

1. Did you have to have a spend history at the OB? 2. Did you get your deposit back from the AD?

2. I didn’t go through with the AD deposit. I hit pause, and did a little more research. Something didn’t sit well with me having to pay a 50% deposit with no timeframe. I truly wonder how many people paid the deposit and still haven’t received a watch. 1. No spend history whatsoever, in fact the EW321 is my very first Omega. The boutique was unequivocal, the EW321 is a boutique only piece. |

Not worth the wait or money. After market prices are dropping and pretty soon you’ll be able to pick one up close to MSRP, that’s when you jump on it.
Good luck. |

Looking at your posts you don’t have much to contribute but snarky negativity.

My friend is a high spender in Sydney and only uses ADs, and his AD was able to get him a 321 which he got for me. Was initially told the wait was 10 years, but somehow for him, he got bumped to first spot and got it within 1 month lol I will treasure my 321 forever and never sell it. |

I’m on a few lists for that reference too, I did get lucky on silver Snoopy from local AD. But I was on the list for it since it’s initial launch 2020.

I got mine in April 2021 within a week of asking for it, with no spend history or previous contact with the boutique after emailing them about it (this was during lockdown when stores were closed) |

There is no Omega Boutique in my state and my AD says there is no way he will ever have and Ed White to sell.
I am in NYC next week, where should I go to get on a list for this watch?

I got mine after waiting about 6-7 months. I do have a spend history but not anything crazy. Apparently my OB only got 1 this year which I got. Last year they got 2. I was floored when I got the call and just sat there staring at it on the OB couch lol.

If you really want to try then you'd have to go to the 5th Avenue boutique. You could also try the Watches of Switzerland location at Hudson Yards. I'm not sure if there are any other AD's in NYC. |
