New AP ROO Chrono 43

Picked up my first Offshore model today from Singapore! This is my second RO from Liat Towers in 4 years, the first being an ROC 38mm Rhodium dial.

Very fortunate The Call came in on Thursday, as there is a 48h countdown before the next client is offered…I had just arrived back from Tokyo and would be flying out again in 72h!

Brought my colleague in to join the experience and also got him onto The List…all in all, I really enjoy the experience and staff attitude at Liat Towers.

My wrist is just over 7 inches, and quite flat. Previously I felt the ROO to be too large, but with ageing and ‘old man eyes’ I am appreciating a larger watch…

Onto the photos!

Congrats! With a 6.75" wrist I've though the ROOs were too big but with the newer case design and angle of the lugs it works. As someone over 50, my eyes also appreciate the great legibility.

Thanks! I took in my Grand Seiko Diver SBGA229 to compare - currently my biggest watch.

The GS is 44mm x 14.1mm, very similar dimensions. Due to more curvature, the GA does appear smaller and fits better. The AP ROOC has more straight lines and looks much bigger, but it is much lighter and the rubber strap makes it very comfortable.

Have to get used to it, but it’s great to be able to see and read the Chrono registers!

Looks great, wear it in great health... funny how ROO is used to be a watch with big metal bezel and now out of 9 43mm ROO chronos in production just this one have metal bezel... include diamond models then it is 1 of 15...

CONGRATS!
I scored the exact same watch yesterday (9/14) at the boutique in Las Vegas.

Beautiful watch......way too big on your wrist but, if you're good with it, that's all that matters............
