Green or blue Sky dweller

Hi guys,
Which one do you like the most, the blue or green sky dweller/jubilee?

I have the opportunity to choose between both and are normally a blue dial person, but i think the green looks a bit more discrete which is appealing. Afraid that the green is just a trend and that you will get sick of the hype.

Ultimately i will buy what i like and i care less about re-sale value as i wear and enjoy for the longer term but keen to hear your thoughts around the green trend.

Thank you//J

Get the rose gold, as it’s green/blue dial lol.

This is a wonderful problem to have. Can’t go wrong. Blue by a smidge

I think green too. I don't know if it's cause I'm kind of bored of the blue since its been around forever but the green is sure special looking. I don't think it's so trendy that it will look odd down the road. Much classier than the hulk green IMO.

I love the green. Some have said it looks washed out, but in person it is beautiful. I like that it has a more subtle tone.

But the blue is great too….

I have the blue so you know my vote. But I have yet to see the green in person... I'll agree it looks really nice in pictures.

Green or blue Sky dweller

Overall, I am much more into green dials than blue dials these days but I do think the blue SkyD is amazing. That said, I’d personally pick the mint dial here but I wouldn’t kick the blue dial out of bed for eating crackers.

Hard to say for sure, but I tend to agree with this.

Having said that the blue stands on its own. It one of my favorite watches, so nice. You won't be disappointed.

Good luck.

i own the blue; i'm not sure what you mean about it not being subtle. No Sky Dweller really is, but i'd imagine blue (which can appear black at times) is more subtle than the green.

Full disclaimer, my blue sky is not my favorite watch and doesn't get a ton of wrist time, but i do like having it.

I agree, this is not a subtle watch! I was not comparing the blue and the green, I simply meant that the green on the Sky D was a little more subtle than some other green dials in the Rolex catalogue.

Cannot go wrong with either in my opinion. It is clear from this thread alone that the blue has a massive support base.

I get a Christmas bauble vibe from the mint dial/red accents/fluted bezel combination. I really like the mint and fluted motif dj but not so interested in the Sky D mint.

At a push the blue is probably my favourite of the line, closely followed by white. The blue dial in the sun is striking but I do really like the colour combination of steel/white/red accents. The white dial is pearlescent rather than sunburst and as a whole it looks the most complete of the four.

Black turned out to be my least favourite. The black sunburst with all the rest of the light catching elements of the watch somehow managed to look simultaneously too much and a bit boring.

Would pix of each model be too much to ask?

Just so that I can compare them.

I have an option to pick which new one to swap mine for and I’ll still go blue. So … blue!!
I do really like the green, it’s lovely. But I always love blue :)

The green is a bit insipid in my view. Blue all day long.

Totally agree here. The white in the flesh is absolutely amazing. Pictures do not do it justice. The colour of the white is like a silvery white enamel. Spectacular.

I would pick green, as its a bit more unusual. The black is nice too.
