Just read on a local forum in Sweden from someone that just picked up a Rolex from an AD, that they are planning a price increase of 5-6% from 1st Jan 2024 (depending on model).
Could be very different in different countries though. Our local currency is making a come back bow but has been very weak the past months…

If this price increase is true, it is bad news for anyone holding out hope to get “the call” between now and end of the year. Why should an AD sell now when in 9 days can have a higher profit margin on the sale of a watch? The AD has paid for the watch at the old price and on 1/1/24 puts a new price tag on the piece.

Confirmation generally comes on the Friday before Christmas. So the 22nd of December.

However, I was told today by an SA friend, that UK ADs are rising prices between 4-10%.

I think she said the 124060 Submariner was going from £7700 - £8100 which is 5.2% roughly.
