rolex crystal for submariner bought on Ebay is this genuine?

ello I bought a used rolex crystal on Ebay for about 250 dollars with vat and shipping to my country I have doubts its real . the gasket looks brand new and the LEC looks like a replica one its better etched than the rolex one. I know rolex had a LEC that's perfect and one that's not perfect . is there a way without extreme magnification to see if this is 100 real. ?

Isn't that around the same price to buy one directly from Rolex? Of course Rolex will require you to service the watch and have them install it. However, if you have a broken crystal, that will still need to be done anyway?

That LEC look a little too visible in my untrained opinion.

That’s quite the photo you’ve taken there! How was it taken, was it with a macro lens?

On a real Rolex LEC the dots are not dots. They are tiny stars.

If the seller is a reputable seller of watch parts, most likely you are fine.

It’s hard to tell if it’s a genuine part or not, but you will know by the 2.5X magnification window as well. On my poor replica part it was too big and didn’t line up correctly-easily apparent after installation.

View some text though the cyclops, does it distort the text around the edges of the lens(?), if so, fake. Though some better fake ones won’t distort, cheap fakes do so it’s not a definitive check.

My crystal cost $125 from AD when they swapped it. Why would you buy it on eBay?
