A dress Rolex to go with my BLNR

I keep it simple and just wear my BLNR most of the time, but there are occasions when a dress watch is needed.

Just got this Cellini Dual Time in Everose with silver guilloche dial--it checked all the boxes for me. Cellini's don't get much love, but this watch is stunning!

Elegant, lots of glimmering polished detail, a good size at 39 mm, a nicely done complication functionally similar to the GMT (the 2nd time zone is actually easier to read on the Cellini), a hint of the trademark Rolex fluted bezel, and, of course, perfect with a tux. The “bubble back” style caseback and the slightly conical shaped crown give it a vintage feel. The movement is robust (it’s a Rolex) with a screw down crown and case good for 50 m. Few, if any, dress watches can say that. To me an eye-catching, reliable gold dress watch with a complication for $16K is a great value.

What's everyone's go to dress watch?

Instead of the 24 hour dial of a GMT watch, it has a day/night (AM/PM) indicator for the second time zone. Flips from light to dark at 6 am/6 pm. Also between 11 and 1 the appropriate icon of the sun or moon appears in the aperture of that small dial.

The Cellini line is nice, but I've never really looked at them closely or ever considered owning one. This one though is really jumping out at me! I've never seen one of those before and that is a gorgeous watch! I really love the vintage and elegant look. Top notch dress watch! At $16k for a gold Rolex with the dual time and day/night window complication, I agree that is a great value! Congrats!

I've always appreciated Cellini and the way they looked in promotional materials, but found them quite large for being dress watches (would be fantastic 2mm smaller). Though, that looks great on you - congrats.

I like the Cellini. However, if available I would stretch the budget into a Lange Saxonia or a Calatrava.
